Job Description:
Sun Microsystems are on the front to provide an Update center capability for SWI (SUNs Middleware Software offering). Sun Microsystems is looking for a skilled GUI programmer with excellent skills in SWING and Rich Client development. Java programming skills like, Javascript, Dynamic HTML, Hands on programming experience in Java and specifically in J2EE environments is of advantage. The candidate obviously must have excellent communications and inter personal skill and be able to work closely in teams. A good understanding of various other technologies such as XML, XML Schema and Python is an added advantage.
Required Skills:
- 4-5 yrs of Dev Exp: JavaDev Exp in accordance with methodology
- GUI design Source control tool (such as CVS, SVN)Hands on Java Swing development experience
- Object Oriented Design and Architecture
- Prioritize and multi-task
- Analyze and resolve multiple, complex problems
- Excellent communication skills
- Work effectively in a distributed team oriented environment
- Advanced knowledge of software development, practice, concepts, and technology obtained through formal training and / or work exp.
- Manage tasks in accordance with project plan
- Java EE, XML/Web Services
- Relational Database (Oracle)
- SQLPhython Update
- Package management tools of different OSs
