Job Description:

• Having minimum 6-7 years of experiences in IT industry covering infrastructure needs.
• Very strong in Microsoft client and back office environment and should have good knowledge of Windows 2000 and 2003 based Active directory.
• Should have basic knowledge about windows networking services like IP addressing, DNS, DHCP WINS etc.
• Should have good knowledge of CISCO switches for trouble shooting and operations.
• Should have handled a site for Windows/Networking/Datacentre Services.
• Exposure to various R&D tools (VMWARE, Source Insight etc.)
• Should have knowledge on Client hardware installation and troubleshooting.
• Should be able to work in an enterprise environment with different teams across different geographical locations..
• Should be able to handle helpdesk calls independently.
• Should have sound experiences of working under SLA based support system.
• Should have excellent IT operational knowledge and co-ordination capabilities.

Job Scope:

• Provide level 1 and level 2 supports for all client software
• Provide level 1 and level 2 supports for client hardware and PCs in an R&D environment.
• Creating user accounts, project accounts following IFX standard.
• Should have knowledge of Windows 2000/2003 Active directory.
• Managing users, groups, access permission, user rights etc.
• Managing backup recovery system for the site (Working experiences of veritas will be preferred).
• Configure and trouble shooting of printers, plotters etc.
• Day to day server related activities, regular maintenance like reading the log files, event viewer messages and also basic trouble shooting and documentation.
• Handle all kinds of Windows Servers/desktop related calls like arranging for machines and installation of standard OS and software following Infineon guidelines.
• Co-ordinate for all hardware related calls for HP servers.
• Build and modify documents, status sheet.
• Track and update all IT assets for any organizational audit.
• Handle procurement requirements along with IFX IT support team.
• Should be handling all hardware related calls along with vendor (DELL, HP etc.)
