Required Skills:
- Having minimum 5-6 years of experiences in Unix/Linux environment preferably in Semiconductor domain.
- Very strong in Linux or Solaris OS.
- Good knowledge of infrastructure services like NIS/NFS/AutoFS/Sendmail (Install, Configuration and Maintaining).
- Knowledge of Kickstart or Jumpstart configurations and setup.
- Good trouble shooting and analytical skills in a mixed environment of LSF/Clearcase/NAS/NIS/ LDAP/Citrix/EDA tools.
- Should be posses sound knowledge of one of the following atleast ( LSF or Netapp Storage or Clearcase or LDAP or Citrix or NIS )
- Should be proactive in implementing new process around the above environment to improve current services.
- Good Team working ability both at local and global level.
- Should have sound experiences of working under SLA based support system.
- Provide level 2 and level 3 supports for all compute environment related calls.
- Day to day server related activities, regular maintenance like reading the log files and performance monitoring.
- Monitor servers in terms of performance and availability.
- Planning and execution of System upgrades in the related areas.
- Automation of various services(patch/shutdown activities)
- Should possess strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Should be proactive and non hesitant to take up any kind of calls related to site support, expansions etc.
- Should be able to add value to the IT team by defining better processes.
- Should posses strong respect to IFX global standards.
- Mininum Degree/Diploma in Engg
